Spent three nights in a Standard Room while exploring the local wineries. The breakfast was a real treat with a variety of fruits, cheeses, and warm options cooked fresh. The outdoor space off the room was a perfect spot to relax. Plus, being able to walk into the heart of Stellenbosch in a short time made it so convenient for our dining adventures and sightseeing.

Large room with shower and bedroom, for instance. Excellent location in the secure area, just next door to restaurants, mountain, and the main square. Good choice of food options around 10-15 minutes walk from the venue.

Stellenbosch Manor charmed me. The rooms felt spacious, meticulously maintained, and had a cozy vibe, made it easy to settle in. The decor throughout was a delight, showcasing tasteful design. I loved lounging in the garden area. Breakfast was a highlight, fresh fruit, pastries, and good hot options made each morning a treat. Tashriq, our host, stood out with his local insights and attention to detail. Some aspects could use attention. I heard sounds from the room above, which interrupted the tranquility. A few maintenance issues, like the broken lamp shades and skew-mounted TV, need fixing to match the otherwise excellent setting. Despite these minor drawbacks, this stay left me wanting to return.

Beautifully restored hotel, cosy fireplaces, lovely garden area
The creaky floorboards are quite annoying!!! Every step was like an earthquake, waking the whole floor. A lack of clear communication regarding room types could greatly be improved, as mismanagement regarding bookings can really ruin the experience!!!
